For a Fish
Salmon are beloved and sacred in the Pacific Northwest, and many of them are having a rough time. Their challenges with living in our modern world and confronting climate change was the inspiration for this textural piece. The fish is obvious, but the view is dominated by the imagined fish egg in the foreground.
Mixed media of collage, photocopies, acrylic paint, acrylic medium.
